 Q: Why should I hire a wedding planner or coordinator? Do I really need one?

A: A wedding planner is a professional whose extensive training, expertise, and contacts will help make your wedding as close to perfect as it possibly can be. Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful, especially with today’s busy schedules! You will spend tons of hours, time, and energy to make your wedding day dreams come true. A wedding planner can assist you by reducing your stress, saving you time and money.

Your wedding is probably the largest and most elaborate party you’ve ever thrown. Simply Unique Weddings & Events will manage and organize ALL of the tedious details for you from venue site selections to budget management to developing a timeline, and so much more. We want you to enjoy your engagement and have FUN at your wedding instead of worrying. It’s your big day! Q: When should I contact a wedding coordinator?

Q: Can I afford to hire a wedding coordinator? How much can I expect to pay? Aren’t they only for RICH people, like on TV?

A: One of my favorite question I love to answer – “You can’t afford NOT to have a wedding planner!” One of the largest misconceptions is that a wedding planner does not fit into the budget. This is so NOT true! Hiring a wedding planner is not just for those that are wealthy, it is no longer a luxury it has become a necessity! We will work within your budget and customize a package just for you. We can also assist you by saving you money and utilizing all of our resources to give you more for your money. And we will ensure that your wedding stays within the budget given to us, including our fees!

Q: How do you charge for your services?

A: We allow our clients to choose from our list of packages, and then we customize it according to their wants and needs. If you cannot find the package or service in our list, we have no problem designing a package just for you! We do take into consideration: time away from your wedding date, your budget, and the amount of planning that needs to be done. After we have all the information necessary, we’ll create and send you a quote for approval. We do try to be honest, fair, and very flexible! Our rate starts from $375 and up beginning with Day-of-Coordination. Q: What methods of payment do you accept?

A: We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express all via PayPal. We also accept cash payments, money order, and personal checks. 

Q: The ceremony/reception venue has an on-site coordinator, why would I need to hire a wedding coordinator?

A: The on-site coordinator oversees the details only pertaining to their venue. Their main concern is managing the facility and services for each event held at the venue. However, a wedding coordinator will act as your assistant, handling all major and important details of the wedding on your behalf. We will help you plan all décor and details before you enter into the venue, and represent you on the wedding day to ensure that everything that you’ve worked hard for, your needs and desires are met. Trust us! We will have your best interest at heart!

I’ve done most of the planning on my own. Why should I have to pay for this if I can get my mother, Maid of Honor or a friend of the family to be my coordinator for free?”

That’s awesome! Your mother, maid of honor and that friend of the family all deserve to play a special role in your wedding. They should be with you enjoying all the fabulous and special moments on your day. But to be honest with you, they may not feel comfortable, want to, or even have the time to decorate the venue, deal with problems that may arise, handle vendor issues, etc. They may just want to enjoy a stress-free wedding day just like you! But when you hire Simply Unique Weddings & Events, everything will work out and things will be more organized and less hectic on your wedding day. We will be sure to handle everything that is going on behind the scenes so that you, your family and friends can ALL not only enjoy your stress free day; but have some FUN!

Q: How far in advance do I need to book my wedding with Simply Unique Weddings & Events?

A: We recommend that you contact us as soon as you set your wedding date! We do get a lot of inquiries but can only hold a wedding date for a short time period.  Wedding planners are normally supposed to be booked at least 10-12 months before your wedding date, however, be sure to check our “calendar” option on our site to see if we happen to have your date available or not! We’re very flexible and are willing to accept clients with wedding dates as soon as 5 weeks away! Contact us today to reserve your date!

Q: Why should I choose Simply Unique Weddings & Events over another wedding coordinator or planner?

A: Simply Unique Weddings & Events prides ourselves on establishing a personal relationship with each of our clients to determine design, style, planning and management needs, regardless of whether we’re hired for full wedding planning service or day of coordination. We make it a priority to learn your likes and dislikes. We are your eyes and ears. You will only have one wedding day and there will be no other opportunities to do it over that day. So we can’t afford to have an “off” day at work, which means, we promise to take your wedding details and planning very seriously!

With each wedding, there will be at least 1-2 assistants, providing full coverage throughout the entire day. Our assistants have proved to be an invaluable asset, since you can never foresee how smooth or difficult an event may be. Having an assistant present gives us, as well the bride, the security of having an extra set of hands present should something happen.

Most importantly, we strive for excellence as well as you being our number one priority! We really want your wedding day to reflect who you are as a couple, a day that allows you to be a guest and a day you will remember for a lifetime. We will handle all the tedious details for you and execute all of your plans, so that you can enjoy your special day.

Q: Do you charge for an initial consultation? What happens during this meeting?

A: No, not for the first two hours, anything beyond that is $25/hour. Our consultations last approximately 1-2 hours. The consultation is a time for the couple (and any other important parties) to meet and get to know us. We encourage you to bring your wedding notebook, ideas, pictures, anything related o your wedding. At the consultation, we will discuss your vision and plans for your BIG day, and answer all of your questions. Before meeting with us, we will send you a questionnaire to fill out and bring with you to the meeting. A small deposit ranging from $250-500 will be required in order to hold your wedding date; if you decide that Simply Unique Weddings & Events is exactly what you’re looking for. Q: How far does Simply Unique Weddings & Events travel?

A: Simply Unique Weddings & Events offers weddings and events “NATIONWIDE” and anywhere else you’d like us to be! Location is definitely not an issue for us! We’re able to travel anywhere within the United States, or internationally (must be booked at least 12 months in advance if possible). We offer Destination Weddings as well! (Depending on location, travel expenses may apply)
